Garchomp: Garchomp’s ability to absorb damage makes him great against Blastoise. Blastoise’s knockbacks can be countered by Dig or Dragon Rush, and his damage combo can easily be lifestealed. A hard lose for Blastoise once Garchomp goes online.
Greninja: Insane damage output and great escape potential. Make sure to play around Blastoise’s Water Spout + Rapid Spin combo to eliminate Greninja even while blinded else you become a free target for it to take down.
Lucario: Same reasoning as Garchomp but on a weaker level since Lucario doesn’t have any lifesteal and percent health damage to delete Blastoise. He can easily stick to you using his numerous gap closing abilities though so pay attention to Lucario in fights.
